An Hour Bundle lets you buy tutoring hours up front at a discounted rate. We add bonus hours on top, and your hours are used automatically as lessons are delivered — no invoice, no card charge, until your bundle runs out.

You pay your tutor tier's standard hourly rate for the hours you buy — Gold $70/hr, Platinum $90/hr, Executive $150/hr. For example, if you purchase the 5 hours bundle for a Gold tier tutor, you pay $350, and it gives you 5.25 hours of tutoring.
All prices are in Australian dollars.
How your Hours are Used
Bundles are tied to a tier. A Gold bundle pays for lessons with Gold tutors. If you work with tutors across tiers you can hold a bundle in each — they sit separately in your Bundle Wallet and never cross over.
Part-hours work normally. A 1.5 hour lesson takes 1.5 hours off your balance.
We use your soonest-expiring bundle first, so nothing is wasted if you hold two of the same tier.
If a lesson is longer than your balance, we cover the gap. With 0.5 hrs left and a 1 hour lesson, we take the 0.5 hrs from your bundle and charge the remaining 0.5 hrs to your card at the standard rate.
Late-cancelled lessons come out of your bundle. Cancel with more than an hour's notice and there's no charge. Cancel with less than an hour's notice, and the lesson is charged in full from your bundle.
When does my bundle expire?
Your bundle is valid for the period shown in the table above, starting the day you buy it. Hours you haven't used by that date cannot be used afterwards.
The date is shown to you before you pay, in your confirmation email, on every lesson receipt, and in your Bundle Wallet alongside your balance. We do not send separate reminder emails as the date approaches, so please keep track of the expiry date yourself.
The discount is what you get in exchange for buying hours up front, and the expiry date is the other half of that deal. Bundles are sized so this shouldn't be tight — five hours is about six weeks of weekly lessons, and you have six months to use it up.
Can I get my money back?
In the first 14 days, if you haven't used any hours — yes, you can get your money back in full. Change your mind within a fortnight and we'll refund the whole purchase to your original payment method, no questions. Just send us an email (contact@kisacademics.com) to let us know.
After that, we don't refund bundles because you've changed your mind or no longer need the lessons. Your hours stay available to you until the expiry date, and you can use them for any student on your account.
If we're the reason you can't use your hours, you get your money back. That covers us being unable to supply a tutor in your tier, us ending your pairing, or something going wrong on our side.

Your rights under Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Our services come with guarantees that can't be excluded — including that they'll be provided with due care and skill and within a reasonable time.
If we fail to meet a consumer guarantee you may be entitled to a refund, and to compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss. These rights sit on top of everything above.
